Our Team
Virginia Barlow
Virginia established VBA in 2018 to supply clients with a responsive, personalised and competitive design service enabling them to efficiently fulfil their building ambitions.
Virginia has been active in architectural roles in the construction and design industry in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom for a number of years after graduating with my Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Tasmania and Masters of Architecture (professional) from Victoria University, Wellington.
Virginia strives to provide her clients with functional buildings that incorporate the style and features specific to them. Designing in sympathy with the environment and climatic conditions of each specific site is vital throughout the design as is the choice of materials, finishes and colour.
Born in Southland Virginia has enduring family and professional ties across the southern and Otago region. She currently manages her time commuting between Oamaru and Wanaka.
In her spare time Virginia enjoys getting into the outdoors especially hiking or skiing on the Southern Alps. She loves all creative avenues especially painting and cooking delicious meals for family and friends.
